This week, the “Made in Kharkiv” 4-day job fair took place in the Kharkiv subway, organized by the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center with the support of the city council and the metro. This is the second event of its kind since the full-scale invasion in the frontline city. Sixty employers from various industries participated, including municipal and industrial enterprises, service and manufacturing entrepreneurs, as well as grant recipients who received microgrants or grants to create or develop their businesses with the help of the employment service.
The fair featured over 3,200 job openings.
Employment service specialists assisted attendees by:
- helping them create résumés;
- providing advice on how to succeed in job interviews;
- informing them about state grants available for starting or expanding a business, as well as vouchers for training to enhance their competitiveness in the labor market.
The Kharkiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education of the State Employment Service also presented its educational services.
More than 3,000 people attended the event.
Employers emphasized the importance of such fairs, as they are highly effective in finding the right candidates.
“I am confident that the participants of this event received the necessary information and contacts, and that the number of employed individuals in Kharkiv will increase in the near future,” said Oleksandr Kotukov, Director of the Regional Employment Center.
We are grateful to everyone for their interest in our event!
