The Kharkiv Regional Employment Center continues to actively hold off-site job fairs. One such event recently took place in the village of Vysokopillia, Bohodukhiv district.
At the fair, everyone had the opportunity to speak with experienced career advisors. They offered guidance not only in choosing a profession but also provided practical advice on how to write a proper résumé, prepare for interviews, and discussed options for professional training and retraining — a particularly relevant topic amid the ever-changing job market.
Among the invited employers were companies such as “Interfakt-Plus” LLC, “Kovyahivske” LLC, the Valky Meat Processing Plant, and the Southern Railway Regional Branch of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”. They presented a wide range of vacancies, including positions for electricians, grain processing operators, tractor drivers, repair fitters, and vehicle drivers.
For those considering starting their own business, consultations were offered on small business support programs and state financial aid. Of special interest was the microgrant program for launching a personal business — a real opportunity to turn long-held plans into reality. Future entrepreneurs expressed interest in areas such as greenhouse construction, opening a pastry workshop, and developing a farming enterprise.
For students, employment service specialists organized a career guidance activity titled “Professional Labyrinth: Find Your Way Out,” which helped schoolchildren better understand the world of professions, explore their own aptitudes, and identify their interests.
During the job fair, Oleksandr Kotukov, Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, and Anatolii Skrypnyk, head of the Vysokopillia administrative district, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The final part of the off-site event was a visit to grantee Svitlana Kharchenko, who expanded her clothing and headwear production business with the help of a grant.
The Kharkiv Regional Employment Center will continue its mission to bring services closer to every resident of the region, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to realize their potential in the labor market.
