Entrepreneur Andrii Kurhanskyi works in the field of metal processing. His main areas of expertise include cutting metal, ceramic granite, and ceramic tiles, as well as processing and cutting stone, plastic, and fiberglass.
After learning about the opportunity to receive a microgrant, Andrii decided to participate in the “Own Business” program to expand his existing business and implement a new direction in his operations.
The core idea is the production of “smokeless” grill bowls under his patented trademark “WATRAG.” These products’ “key feature” lies in a special design that allows smoke to burn off almost completely, and a petal-type damper enables the regulation of burn intensity and duration.
After drafting and successfully defending his business plan, Andrii used grant funds in August of this year to purchase a laser welding machine and raw materials. The new equipment enables the company to expand its range of services and attract a broader clientele.
In the near future, the entrepreneur plans to employ two individuals in newly created positions.
