The Employment Service consistently joins initiatives aimed at supporting veterans and female veterans, because caring for those who defended Ukraine and creating real opportunities for their professional fulfillment is a fundamental priority for us.
In partnership with “Ukroboronservice,” we joined the implementation of a UNDP project in Ukraine that helps war veterans return to peaceful life and find themselves in a new field that is extremely important for the country.
Through referrals from the State Employment Service, 13 veterans, including those with disabilities, completed training in humanitarian demining—a field that today directly saves lives and brings closer the restoration of Ukrainian territories. Each of them received certificates confirming successful completion of the training.
Ahead lies employment, responsible work to clear our land of explosive hazards, and an important mission to inform citizens about safety rules.
I sincerely thank every veteran, male and female, for their courage, resilience, and willingness to serve Ukraine once again—now in a cause that protects lives and the future of our communities. I also thank our partners for the joint work and faith in the power of recovery.
