Four years of a full-scale invasion. For the Kharkiv region, these have been years of serious challenges, losses, and at the same time daily systematic work to preserve economic activity and support people.
The Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Denys Oliinyk, held a working meeting with the head of the Lyptsi Village Military Administration, Anna Bychenko.
The Lyptsi community is one of the most affected as a result of hostilities due to its proximity to the state border. Constant shelling has caused significant destruction of infrastructure, damage to the housing stock, and the forced displacement of a large number of residents.
During the meeting, the areas of further cooperation were discussed regarding:
the implementation of grant programs for starting and developing entrepreneurial activities
the application of compensation mechanisms to support employers
assistance in the employment of internally displaced persons and other vulnerable population groups
the organization of socially useful and public works as a tool for simultaneous support of the population and restoration of territories.
Special attention was paid to the energy support program for individual entrepreneurs, which provides for the possibility of purchasing equipment to ensure energy independence and uninterrupted business operation, which is especially relevant for frontline territories.
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, which defines further joint steps aimed at restoring employment of the population and strengthening the economic resilience of the community.
The Kharkiv Regional Employment Service continues its systematic work to support communities of the region, promote employment of the population, and develop entrepreneurship under martial law.
