When there is an idea and a desire to work, opportunities are found. Sometimes, to take a step forward, only one thing is missing – a chance.
For entrepreneur Hanna Bondarenko from Zlatopil, such a chance was the Own Business /grant/ program. It helped not only to upgrade equipment but also to open a new stage in the development of her business. Having received 300,000 hryvnias of a state microgrant, Hanna invested it in modern equipment from the company Beauty Mania. This made it possible to significantly expand the range of services: from photorejuvenation and unwanted hair removal to working with vascular changes and deep skin care.
But behind this is more than just new equipment. It is about development, confidence, and the ability to move forward despite all challenges.
“I had long dreamed of upgrading my equipment, but I didn’t have enough personal resources. When I learned about the program, I decided to try. And I was sincerely surprised at how clear and transparent everything was,” Hanna says.
The biggest concern was preparing the documents. But there was support nearby – a specialist from the Made in Ukraine office, who accompanied her at every stage: from the first consultation to the interview. She helped, explained, and advised – and this gave confidence.
“Everything is clear: application submission, interview, decision. No unnecessary bureaucracy. If you have an idea and are ready to work – it’s real,” the entrepreneur shares.
Today, Hanna is not only developing her own business but has also created a new job. Her story is about how even in difficult times it is possible to grow, develop, and build the future.
