On November 7, at the Municipal Youth Center “High Hub” of the Vysochanska Settlement Council, a meeting was held with Nataliia Kovalenko, a community outreach specialist from the CF “Right to Protection,” and active residents of the Vysochanska community.
The event was titled “Participation — Active Involvement in Community Life.”
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to discuss the issues of the Vysochanska community — such as the lack of asphalt pavement on some streets, absence of pedestrian stairs and lighting — and to share their own initiatives on waste sorting and recycling.
They also learned about tools for influencing local government decisions, gained practical skills in using the community’s official website, and agreed to create an initiative group that will present its proposals for public discussion and submit them for consideration to local government representatives.
