On 10.01, the FSD Swiss Humanitarian Fund for mine action visited the High Hub Youth Center in Babai.
In this difficult time, these girls and boys give a maximum of important information to people in order to reduce the number of victims of explosive objects.
Young people learned about:
- stages of demining;
- statistics of territory pollution;
- tactical and technical characteristics of the most common explosive objects;
- potentially dangerous places
- and the most important thing: the action algorithm: “how to behave if you see a mine.”
Unfortunately, Ukraine is included in the list of countries most polluted by explosive objects. In the most favorable case, it will take 60-70 years for its complete demining, so we need to be aware of all the dangers that surround us.
And on a pleasant note: all participants received gifts from the Swiss Humanitarian Fund in memory of this meeting
