NGO “Veterans’ Wives” acted as co-organizers of the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Social Aspects of Military-Professional Activities of the Security and Defense Sector: Today’s Challenges.” Scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions of Ukraine, Slovakia, Latvia, representatives of the Main Administration of NSU participated in the conference. The National Commission for State Language Standards, the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, state authorities, public organizations, as well as students of higher education and practitioners.
Participants’ speeches and scientific-practical discussions related to social problems of servicemen and their family members, ways to solve them; legal provision of social and humanitarian aspects of military-professional activity; problems and prospective areas of training, activities of personnel specialists.
“The purpose of the event was to discuss and define social problems and ways to solve them, the state and prospects of the social development of the security and defense sector of Ukraine as a result of changes in society, the implementation of the best international and domestic experience in matters of military and social work, improving the quality of social and humanitarian training of military personnel, specialists in working with personnel”, said the head of the department of social and humanitarian disciplines, Colonel Maksym Chepel.
