The NGO “Veterans’ Wives” visited the Bezlyudivsk community, where they had a pleasant meeting with Olga Levenko, who since 2014, working in the Department of Culture of the State Administration of Ukraine, actively helped our organization and created various events for veterans. Currently, Mrs. Olga heads the department of culture, tourism and sports of the Bezlyudiv settlement council and was happy to join the meeting with us and representatives of local social protection. The purpose of our trip was to tell the community about the need to implement a program for the reintegration of veterans today, because this issue is extremely relevant and important. Veterans are people who gave the best years of their lives protecting our country. They suffered many trials and injuries, both physical and psychological, in the war zone. When they return home, they face significant challenges in the process of adapting to a peaceful life. Underestimating veterans’ reintegration needs can lead to serious problems that threaten not only their well-being, but society as a whole. Our moral and social responsibility is to create a support infrastructure for these heroes and their families. Therefore, when discussing the future of our society, it is important to remember those who fought for its freedom. Our help to them today is an investment in the future of the entire society. We met the first deputy head of the Bezlyudiv settlement council Yuriy Serhiyovych, who fully supported our initiative and emphasized the need for cooperation in this direction.
