On July 7, 2024, the director of the Kharkiv branch of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center Nataliya HRYN, together with her deputy Iryna SHATILO, attended the opening of the “Smart community” Youth Center in the village of Pokotylivka of the Vysochan Settlement Council of the Kharkiv District.
The project was implemented by the Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine (hereinafter – AMLU) within the framework of the USAID Ukraine program, with the help of local authorities, representatives of small businesses and concerned citizens. The new hub offers young people a wide range of trainings, employment consultations, holding various events for exchanging ideas, learning and developing life skills.
From 2023, the AMLU NGO takes an active part in carrying out socially useful works. Every month, about 20 unemployed people work for the benefit of the community, in particular, they participated in the repair work of the premises for the newly created hub.
Nataliya HRYN in her speech emphasized that the State Employment Service provides various social services to young people, such as professional orientation, consultations on choosing a professional path, organizing one’s own business, compiling a resume, etc. According to her belief, investing in education and youth development is a strategic step to ensure a stable and prosperous society. This event testifies to the growing attention to the development of youth initiatives and the creation of spaces for self-realization of young people.
We work so that you work!
