The NGO “Veterans’ Wives” NGO reports on our work at the end of 2023.
Our team became bigger – we started working more productively and devoted this year to helping civilians and our Defenders and their families.
Here are just a few numbers that testify to our work:
1,720 food kits were distributed, providing people with necessary food products.
Medicines worth more than 180,000 hryvnias were purchased so that everyone who needs them has access to the necessary treatment.
Visited 48 settlements where aid was distributed,
Drove 28,394 km, never stopping in the face of difficulties, to help as many people as possible.
More than 300 New Year’s gifts were distributed to the children of defenders from the Kharkiv region.
And they didn’t even count how many mattresses, underwear, medicines, tourniquets, thermal clothing, gloves, camouflage robes, vitamins, hand and body warmers, sleeping bags, berets, tactical first-aid kits, stretchers, camouflage nets, generators were handed over to our Defenders .
Our girls continue to weave nets, prepare goodies and take them to the hospital – to our wounded defenders.
For the second time, we became co-organizers of a scientific and practical conference – we continue to actively cooperate with the security and defense sector.
Attended more than 10 scientific and practical events and seminars – where they had the opportunity to share the experience of their work and learn from the experience of other volunteers.
Two master classes were held for graduates of higher military education institutions – they were told how military units can work with public organizations, charitable foundations and volunteers during martial law.
Also, last year, the team of Wives of Veterans started work in the direction of reintegration of our Defenders, very soon there will be a lot of interesting news from us)))
