The non-governmental organization “Veterans’ Wives” has joined the important initiative of the Kharkiv region’s veteran movement – the goal of which is to create comfortable conditions for the rehabilitation and integration of our Defenders and their families for the coming years. Today’s participation in the round table regarding the adopted regional “Program of support for defenders of Ukraine and their family members for 2024-2028” was a key step in this direction.
At the round table, organized to discuss support programs for our Heroes, an active discussion and exchange of experiences with the participants of the process took place. Representatives of the veteran community expressed their views, shared proposals and discussed important issues aimed at improving the living conditions of veterans and their families, and perpetuating the memory of fallen Heroes.
We, the families of Defenders, have comments on some of the measures of this Program and are preparing our proposals for addressing the authors. In our opinion, everything that is done for veterans must be done with veterans!
We are grateful to the veteran community of Kharkiv Oblast for their active participation and valuable contribution to the development and implementation of support programs for our real Heroes and their families. Together we can create a better future for all of us!
