🚪 These doors opened with tears…
We once again visited lonely elderly residents of Kharkiv — those who lived through one hell, the Second World War, and now find themselves in another — under the sound of sirens, without children, without support, often without bread or medicine.
We brought them food packages and medications, and in return, they gave us even more. They gave us strength. Their wrinkles, which speak louder than words. Their trembling hands as they reach for tea or buckwheat. Their whispered “Thank you for not forgetting…” — words that go straight to the heart.
Some of them haven’t left their homes in weeks. Some haven’t seen a real smile in months. For them, each of our visits is a breath of humanity, a reminder that they are not alone.
We don’t just deliver aid. We bring warmth. Hope. Love.
Thank you to our reliable partners — the Rememberus.org foundation, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, and Oksana Bondar — without whom this mission would not be possible.
Your support is not just humanitarian aid — it’s a belief in humanity, an outstretched hand to those too often forgotten by the world.
We won’t stop. Because we know: as long as there are hearts beating together — we are unbreakable.
With support GO “Wives of Veterans”
