Based on the results of 2024, Kharkiv region ranked second among Ukrainian regions in terms of state financial support under the “Microgrant for Own Business” program. The total amount allocated to entrepreneurs in the region reached 211.2 million UAH. Thanks to this program, nearly 600 residents of Kharkiv region received microgrants for starting and developing their own businesses. This not only supports entrepreneurial initiatives but also stimulates the regional economy, as the implementation of new business projects is expected to create over 1,000 new jobs.
Along with Kharkiv region, the top three regions by funding volume included Lviv region – 293 million UAH and Kyiv region – 208.8 million UAH.
The “Microgrant for Own Business” program serves as a crucial tool for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life, boost regional economies, and create new jobs.
