More and more residents of the Kharkiv region are taking advantage of the opportunity to receive financial assistance from the state in the form of a microgrant or grant within the “Own Business” program.
Last week, the commission of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center approved 13 business ideas for receiving microgrants to start or expand existing businesses. Over 5.7 million UAH have been recommended for funding these initiatives, which will create 24 new jobs in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region.
Future grant recipients plan to implement businesses in the following areas: opening a food store, creating their own production of products made from Izolon material, developing a network for selling medical goods, providing massage and cosmetology services, expanding furniture production, as well as manufacturing and selling printing products, among others. One of the future grant recipients is a young entrepreneur under 25 years old who plans to open a car service station.
