These doors opened with tears…
We once again visited lonely elderly residents of Kharkiv. Those who survived one hell — World War II — and now live in another — under the sound of sirens, without children, without support, often without bread or medicine.
We brought them food packages and medications, and they gave us even more. They gave us strength. Their wrinkles spoke louder than words. Their hands trembled when taking tea or buckwheat. Their “Thank you for not forgetting…” — whispered, yet straight to the heart.
Some of them do not leave their homes for weeks. Some have not seen a living smile in a long time. For them, each of our visits is a breath of humanity, a reminder that they are not alone.
We do not just deliver aid. We bring warmth. Hope. Love.
We thank our reliable partners — the Rememberus.org foundation, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, Oksana Bondar — without whom this mission would be impossible.
Your support is not just humanitarian aid; it is faith in humanity, a helping hand to those too often forgotten by the world.
We do not stop. Because we know: as long as hearts beat together — we are unbreakable.
With support GO “Wives of Veterans”
